Pulse-shaping expansion board for the Pico Glitcher v2 to generate arbitrary voltage traces - fully assembled.
Note: Images for reference only. The Pico Glitcher and the Target Board are sold separately.
Dispatched within 1 day if ordered before 12 noon CEST.
30-day right of return.
Note to be transparent with the costs: Manufacturing this device is expensive as rare and special components are used. The DAC alone costs around $40. To keep the production costs within reasonable limits, I ask interested buyers to use the wishlist function.
The pulse-shaping expansion board for the Pico Glitcher v2 and v3 allows for fine-tuned control over glitch waveforms by defining voltage transitions over time. This technique is useful for far more sophisticated fault injection attacks where simple square-wave glitches might not be effective. Pulse-shaping is the method of generating arbitrary voltage profiles that are applied to the power rail of the target device. This board gives you very fine control over the voltage curve with which the target device is supplied. Not only that, but unwanted oscillations after the transitions between two voltage levels can also be suppressed, resulting in cleaner voltage curves.
The waveform generator AD9102 from Analog devices was chosen for this device and is used to generate arbitrary voltage profiles. This chip is a high performance digital-to-analog converter (DAC) integrating on-chip pattern memory for complex waveform generation with a direct digital synthesizer (DDS).

Note that the Pico Glitcher v1 is not compatible with this expansion board. See the documentation for more information.
